Lettering for Little Ones

I always feel so honored when a fellow designer asks me to collaborate on a birth announcement, but even moreso when the baby in question is the designer’s own little one. Today, Oh So Beautiful Paper featured a selection of recent baby announcements and among them is this extremely fun piece by Tokketok’s Joke Vande Gaar, which features the details of her son William’s birth (his name, birth date, etc.) written in my Edwards lettering style and printed on twill tape that is wrapped around the most precious photo of the little guy. I loved working with Joke on this project – the concept was hers from beginning to end – and was so happy to be reminded of it today.
